    Working Principle

    The working process of the evaporative condenser is a coordinated system integrating air flow, water circulation and phase-change heat exchange,which can be divided into the following three core stages:

    Heat and mass exchange stage of air and water
    Dry and low-temperature ambient air is forcibly drawn in by the fan from the air inlet at the bottom of the equipment and passes through the heat exchange coil group from bottom to top. At the same time, the circulating water sprayed from the upper part forms a uniform water film on the outer surface of the coils. The air is in full contact with the water film during the rising process, and the water in the water film evaporates rapidly, absorbing a large amount of latent heat of vaporization, which increases the air temperature and humidity. Finally, the air becomes hot and humid air and is discharged from the air outlet at the top of the equipment. This process is the core power source for the equipment to achieve high-efficiency cooling.

    Condensation stage of medium inside the tube
    The high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant (or other process fluids) discharged from the refrigeration compressor enters from the upper inlet of the coil group and flows back and forth multiple times inside the coils. At this time, the water film on the outer surface of the coils is continuously evaporating and absorbing heat, making the wall temperature of the coils much lower than the saturation temperature of the medium inside the tube. The medium inside the tube conducts high-efficiency heat exchange with the water film through the tube wall, releasing a large amount of heat, and its temperature drops sharply, condensing from gaseous state to liquid state. Finally, it is discharged from the lower outlet of the coil group, completing the condensation process.

    Water circulation and reuse stage
    The water collection tank at the bottom of the equipment stores circulating water, which is delivered to the spray pipe group at the top by a water pump. The high-flow nozzles on the spray pipes spray water evenly on the outer surface of the coil group to form a continuous water film. After completing the heat exchange, most of the water falls back to the water collection tank under the action of gravity and participates in the circulation again. Only a small amount of water evaporates when in contact with air and is discharged from the equipment along with the hot and humid air. The lost water is timely supplemented by the automatic water supply system to maintain the stable operation of the system.
